Artificial Christmas tree

Oh, Christmas tree, oh, Christmas tree... Are you a fresh cut one or an artificial Christmas tree?

Pro:
  • you buy it once and have it for several years
  • you can arrange it differently from one year to another, so it doesn't look the same (this year it's red, next year you can use golden decorations and so on)
  • you can still have the smell of the Christmas tree by using essential oils
  • after Christmas, you don't have to worry about getting rid of it; you just put it back into its box
  • a natural Christmas tree is never perfect, while an artificial one can be arranged simetrically
  • you save the life of a Christmas tree and leave it enjoy its enviornment
  • in time, and if not deposit carefully, it acumulates dust and it gets the smell of closed spaces
Con:
  • it doesn't have that specific smell of Christmas
  • it's nothing like a fresh cut Christmas tree to get into the spirit of Christmas

Con arguments

Artificial Christmas Tree

The average artificial tree is used only for approx. 7 years. It then goes into a landfill and lasts there forever. It's more eco-friendly to get a real tree.
