Do you want to impress your friends with a special party? Than you might include a beach party on the list of to do. But is it a good option for you? See the pros and cons.

Beach party
Pro: 
  • sun, see breeze, refresing water should be enought to make everyone enjoy a beach party
  • you don't need fancy cloths
  • if you had too many parties in your own house and you feel like changing the "routine", than a beach party would be a change of plans
  • the atmosphere is more relaxed and there is no need for special entertainment. To make it even more fun, you can choose a theme for your party or you can offer your guest special drinks and food
  • beach parties are ideal for kids because they have sand towers to build, water to go into and plenty of other activities
  • the costs for such a party could be sensible lower because you won't have to pay for the location, you don't have to tip waiters, you don't need an expensive menu
  • if you don't feel like waisting time organizing the beach party, there are planty of party planner that can do the job for you
Con: 
  • if you schedule your party on a specific day and that day it is raining, your party has a chance of being ruined, so you need a backup plan. A pub or a bar with glass walls and a lovely view over the sea can be a perfect backup because the beach has it's charm even if it rains
  • some people might get unconfortable if you ask them to wear a bathing suit
  • the problem with beaches on a sunny day is that they are usually crowded, so your guests might feel unconfortable to expose themselves in an area full of people; you need to ensure a certain level of privacy
