Budget travel
Is it frustating to go on a holiday with an almost empy pocket? Is it challenging, tempting or it give you headache just when you think about it? Would you prefer a limited budget vacation or staying at home?
Pro:
- you spend less:)
- you can have a great vacation even if you are choosing a budget vacation: spending less on accomodation means more money for tourist attractions, for tasting the night life, for visiting interesting places
- you can save money booking a low cost flight - it is only a few hours flight. And if you book your flight weeks ago
- because you need low cost accomodation, you could spend the night in hostels, where you could meet young people from different corners of the world, change ideas and have a good time
- if you don't have too much money to spend on vacation, there are other ways to save money, without having to make a compromise regarding the accomodation or transport: use online maps instead of buying paper ones (MapQuest, Google Earth or local maps from specialized travel websites are good friends in need); take your digital camera with you, so you won't have to pay for printing photos; buy tickets for flights online, because you will enjoy smaller prices and special offers; use gps navigation, so you won't have to wonder around and spend gas useless; don't use cell phones if it's not really necessary, find out the places where there is free internet access or the tourist information centers to find out the cheapest means of transport of a city; use roller bags, so you won't have to tip hotel personal for helping you and so on

Con:
- you can't expect the best accommodation during your trip
- it takes time finding a nice accomodation on a hostel or an apartment in the city you want to visit
- you might have to choose a flight at the late hours in the night, which means that you might need some extra cash for taking a cab at destination, because shuttle buses will probably be out of service
