  • Broadway theatre district is an important attraction
  • New yYork has some of the best bars, art movie houses and restaurants in the world
  • entertainment is almost a synonym for the city
  • New York offers huge professional and personal opportunities
  • the public transport is great, reliable
  • Central Park is one of the largest urban parks in the nation
  • it's a vibrant city, with plenty of things to do to avoid getting bored - NY is the city that never sleeps, right?
  • New York is a unique American city because of the diversity of population, with nearly 170 languages spoken in the city recently
Con: 
  • New York doesn't offer too many high-paying jobs
  • the rents are very expensive even for small apartments
  • many people have to use long and crowded subway commutes
  • the most important restaurants involve reservations made months ahead
  • the cost of living is high
  • safety is not a very strong point for New York either
  • the winters are long and cold
