Should i commit a felony

A friend of mine suggested that if i commit a felony i won't have to serve jury duty anymore. i'd like to weigh the pros and cons of this idea. no, i'm not entirely serious.
Pro:
- i wouldn't have to serve on jury duty anymore
- people would feed me in jail
- i wouldn't have to go to work anymore
Con:
- i'd probably go to jail
- wearing orange every day could get old
- i might have to make license plates which wouldn't be bad, except for those annoying custom ones
