Should I leave?

So I have my boyfriend we havnt been dating long. But the thing is I want to break up, but he's clingy. And well I never said "yes when he asked me out. I said maybe. But everyone took it as a yes and now I'm stuck. I had a boyfriend who committed suicide and after that I went into a relationship and as it was getting better I decided I'd hurt him before he could hurt me. And now I promised myself I wouldn't break up my next relationship. So now I'm stuck.

-he's very innocent

-I don't feel a connection

-he's too perfect (he's an eagle scout, a head alter boy (even though he's too old for it) and BOTH his parents are doctors)
