Should I move to a different apartment complex
My lease is running out and I need to decide between staying at my current apartment complex or moving somewhere that costs less but might not be as nice.
Pro:
Save around $140 a month on rent
Live closer to friends so I can save on gas
Better options for biking to work
Closer to the park / greenbelt
There will be a door on my bedroom (unlike before)
There's a second room I can use as an office
Will be able to car pool with friends when we go places
Con:
Cable is required at the new location, so that's an extra $30 utility I don't use
Utilities might be more expensive because of worse insulation
Farther away from grocery stores / walmart
Older complex so there's a greater chance for maintenance issues
Lots of amenities and a great office staff at the old place, not sure on the new one
The living room will be set up odd because of the strange floorplan
