Should We Stay Together for Now or Break-Up?

My boyfriend and I have been together for just over 3 years. We are a gay couple. There is a 5 year age difference. Lately (actually, for a long time now) I've been questioning my feelings for him. I know that I love him, but I'm not sure if I'm IN love with him.
We have a short long-distance relationship (same state, but about an hour apart). We haven't been seeing much of each other lately because he was very busy. Because of that our physical relationship has dwindled. Soon he will no longer be as busy and we will return to normalcy. I'm not sure if that will be enough for me, though.
In the next few months, he will be starting his career and I will still be in college. I know that eventually I will have to move away for my career (not many opportunities where we live). I think that because we are on different paths right now (and will be forever, really) we can't have a future together. I don't think I want a future with him, but I don't know if I should quit just yet. If I do end it, how can we be friends?

Pro:
-He's very nice to me and does me so many favors.
-He takes care of me and is very involved in my life.
-He'll (most likely) be financially well-off very soon.
-He loves me, without a doubt.
-We share a lot of interests and we usually have fun together.
-He takes me on trips and pays for all of our dinners.
-He shows genuine interest in my life and school, but isn't overbearing about it.
-He loves to give gifts, but doesn't do it TOO often.
-We understand each other's humor.
-My family likes him.
Con:
-We fight pretty frequently (usually about silly things, too).
-He has a short temper and sometimes it's a little scary (it's very rarely directed at me).
-He lied about not smoking cigarettes (he doesn't know that I know).
-He isn't "out" to his parents and I've never met them.
-I've never met his friends, but they all know about me.
-He can be annoying sometimes (but, then again, so can I).
-I'm not sure if I'm in love with him.
-Our physical relationship is not as frequent as it has been before.
-We'll have to go our separate ways within the next 2 years because of our career choices.
-We are of different political affiliations.
-We have different views on religion.
-One day, I will want to experience a relationship with another person.
