Stay or leave?

When I first met my boyfriend I was crazy about him and felt so strongly for him - now 6 months later I'm trying to decide if he is the person I thought he was and if I should continue on with it or put my time and energy elsewhere. I still care so much for him but am worried that there are more reasons not to be with him then to be with him .. I'm in my early/mid twenties a he's 7 years older.

Pro:

-we have fun together
-he cares
-he's trustworthy
-I'm comfortable around him
-he talks about our future together
-he cooks me dinner a lot
-he seems to always be thinking of me
-I really care for him
-he's supportive of me
-tells me I'm pretty
-we spend a lot of time together
-he gives me gas $$ because I'm always driving to see him

Con:

-sometimes controlling
-anger problems
-mood changes really fast
-doesn't really like my friends
-sometimes says things that hurt me but not sure he realized its hurtful
-always complaining about work and $$
-our sex life is awkward and sparse
-he has an std
-won't even sacrifice 2 hrs to watch a girls movie because he hates them
-mom doesn't like him
-doesn't do anything romantic
-seems distracted when I talk sometimes
-was awesome and outgoing when he met my family, but now that he's "won them over" doesn't seem great around them anymore

Con arguments

Let go

Just from the looks of it, you have way more cons than pros. Which means your most likely spend more time being unhappy than happy. The cons you listed are very important, and certain things like having him say hurtful things to you shouldn't be a constant thing. We all get hurt, all get angry but we have to controll it especially with those we love. Your pros are nice, but some of those things aren't important enough to override the cons. Such as giving you gas money. Let him come see you more, he's the man. Calling your pretty, thats always great to hear especially from your boyfriend, but not as important as having him change his mind about that when he gets angry. Best advice I can give is to pray about it. God knows whats best :)
