Stay or Transfer
I am currently in my second semester at Suffolk University in Boston (but technically I am a first semester sophomore). I am trying to decide whether or not to transfer to binghamton university next year.
Pro:
Binghamton is a better school and has higher standards than suffolk.
It would be much much cheaper since I am from nys, so I wouldnt be in debt for the rest of my life.
I would be closer to home therefore It would be much cheaper and easier to visit family and friends.
I like change a lot of times and sometimes get bored of suffolk.
So far I haven't felt great about my classes at suffolk.
Con:
I absolutely love living in the city and dont know if i would like going from that to a campus.
I have good friends here already that I wouldnt see anymore.
There are more opportunities for everything in boston including work.
I am within walking distance or subway ride of pretty much everything i need.
I would have to start over completely which would be stressful.
It would be a pain to go through the application process.
