Using alternative medicine

Would you be willing to try it?

Pro:

natural products have less side effects
people suffering from chronic illnesses can use it in addition to the treatment prescribed by the doctors
for soft headaches and other pains are better treated through Herbalist, Homeopathic, Chiropractic therapies or through Acupuncture or Massage• if you decided to quit smoking, no pills will help you; but a special cup of tea or a session of acupuncture do the job
a session of massage is not really a therapy, it's a delight
most of the times, the price is smaller than paying for traditional treatment

Con:

to obtain the effect you want , you need more time
you have to "stick to the plan": to drink your not so delicious tea 3 times per day, to put hot or cold ingredients on your body before sleeping or to "wear" it during the day...
some herbals are not very tasty
some ingredients smell
any abuse can create other problems for the body
you still need to see a specialist in order to have a suitable treatment

I want to try acupuncture for some health problem I have to deal with, but I'm not very thrilled with the idea of many needles pointed to my body:)

Over the counter vitamins and herbals are not regulated by the FDA and may vary in potency.

live on campus or commute?
So I am torn between living on campus next year or continuing to commute. my friends are getting an awesome on-campus apartment and I really want to live with them. However.

I have been with this guy for about 4 months and things were pretty good until he broke his leg. He became very hard to deal with and started being rude to myself and my children.
